Achieving  a world citizen status means travel and learn cultures ,community ,history ,Geography ,cuisines and much more .To prepare the Next Generation to be World citizens travelling should be part of their life  Astrin  hails from Mangalore, a city with big dreams and bigger dreamers!  She was educated at St. Agnes School and graduated from St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore and has Postgraduate in International Events Management at Leeds Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She is versatile, unswerving and a go-getter. She has immense passion for life, but more for travel. She is currently the Manager – Marketing and Corporate Communications at Travel Point, Oman’s largest travel and hospitality company and holds over 9 years of experience in the field. Though to her, no experience can beat the learning she’s got from her travels. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
