Afghans voters braved Taliban threats of violence Thursday to cast their ballots in the country's second-ever presidential election. Scattered violence was reported in several parts of the country, including the capital, Kabul, where polls stayed open an extra hour to allow those already in line to vote. VOA Correspondent Steve Herman reports from Kabul that independent observers say it is too early to determine the poll's success.
