The more I trainwatch in the modern era, the more fond I am of EMDs. 30 years ago when I was a teenage railfan, SD40-2s ruled the road. Today, especially on BNSF, all we see are GEVOs that all look the same and also Sound the same, and by that I mean air horns. So I've found myself spending more time on the Union Pacific, as they run far more EMDs than BNSF, and have compiled this video of EMD-led trains I liked from the last year. Compare it to the one I posted from my May trip to Marceline and you will see what I am talking about. Everything in this video was shot in west St Louis County. Enjoy!
