My first attempt at CCD imaging the Moon with my new 150mm reflector :-D. I used a 13% transmission neutral density filter to help bring out the detail (although I noticed it was possible to alter the exposure on the CCD webcam to get a similar result). I must say that the webcam does no justice to the image seen by eye through the eyepiece, it is SO much sharper. This is what you get with a £50 640x480 CCD camera as opposed to a £500 high def. sub-zero cooled CCD camera....
