This week's Mousesteps Weekly begins with "surprise" characters including Tarzan's Jane and Cruella De Vil at Epcot! Baloo, Donald and Mickey were also found next to the American Adventure Pavilion, greeting guests with many other characters.

Our vintage segment includes early Epcot character greetings in Epcot, leading into the Epcot Center Daredevil Circus Spectacular (with some footage and photos). Elephants used to walk around and onto the Epcot fountain!

Theme Park Connection hosted original Dreamfinder Ron Schneider and Jeff for their book and DVD signing. We look around the store a little to see what is new and interesting! You'll see Captain Mickey in his boat that used to be in the Yacht Club Resort shop.

We talk a little about the Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom, which opens on November 19th to guests. Reservations are mostly sold out for the rest of the year, for this new restaurant that will be French themed to Beauty and the Beast.

We take a look at some of the merchandise in World Showcase, including new Germany t-shirts and cooking items in Italy that all have a character flair! Also in Epcot, we look at some of the construction for the expanded Boulangerie-Patisserie (as well as our pastry!)

Recorded 8/21/12 Featuring Commentary from Denise Preskitt and Jeff Lange.
