A damning report highlighting corruption and poor management of teacher’s leave fare entitlements has been released by the Special Parliamentary Committee on Public Sector Reform and Service Delivery. The Committee headed by Goroka MP, Bire Kimisopa, published the investigation report without tabling it in parliament as protocol requires. Among other things, the committee found that leave fares were being paid to travel agents who had been appointed outside of the public tender process and that they were charging teachers up to 10 percent in fees. visit us at http://www.emtv.com.pg/ for the latest news...
