The Yardenit Baptism Experience. This has got to be one of the biggest scams using people's faith in God to earn cash! Visitors here can be baptized in the "Jordan" River, just like Jesus. NOT! There is absolutely no way possible that this is the same place Jesus was baptized because this stretch of the river is an artificial ditch dug back when the British were controlling Palestine. Now, it is a huge tourist trap with modern showers and changing areas, and a gigantic gift shop selling t-shirts, dvds, cruzifixes, mangers, and all kinds of religious souvineers.
