Under feminism's social influence, many women have adopted "victim" as their identity, making the person they are secondary to the status in importance. This has led to an inability among these women to objectively examine any information that might contradict narratives which support that identity. This leaves them in a fragile mental state, wherein it isn't just that there IS an oppressive patriarchal culture, but that there HAS to be an oppressive patriarchal culture, or they lose their identity. Karen Straughan, Prim Reaper, and Hannah Wallen examine the phenomenon and how, in some ways, it socially cripples the affected.
