Prepping & Installing Carniolan Honey Bees into Hive (2nd Year Beekeeping)

This is our second year with backyard honey bees, and second time doing a honeybee hive installation (installing = adding bees to their hive). While my husband Brian did the heavy lifting, I filmed & didn't wear any sort of face netting, although I did wear a hooded sweater & baseball hat. This year we're using pollen patties and a sugar water feeder inside of the hive, on the internal lid. We're certainly not experts, but would like to share our experiences beekeeping in urban Anchorage, Alaska.
