Supreme Court will be hearing a writ petition filed by an NGO, seeking that Article 35 A be struck down. Jammu and Kashmir’s coalition partners BJP and PDP differ on state’s “special status”. While the ruling party BJP, demands that J&Ks special provisions under Constitution of India should go, PDP and all opposition parties oppose the decision.
