This is a synopsis of the Dogs Deserve Better Chain Off in Corpus Christi, Texas, where animal advocates chained themselves to doghouses and trees across from the beach at the "Sparkling City by the Bay" in order to raise awareness for the city's pitiful animal laws and failure to enforce Texas state laws against chaining of dogs. Video includes Chain Off photos and footage, a news story on the Shepp case and the inadequate sentence given to his abusers, and local chained dogs and a run-in with a chainer who was irate, but later talked down by DDB rep Adam Moran and agreed to release the worst dog and accept Dogs Deserve Better fencing help.
