Today I added capacitors to the bank, bringing it up to 62uf, still at 6kV. With this done, I needed to test it. I prepared a 5ml plastic cup with 99% isopropyl alcohol and an aluminum foil strip between two screw electrodes. The lid survived, so I used it to prepare a second cup with a steel wire and liquid butane. Only the butane was ignited. The lid survived again, so maybe I'll try gasoline and lacquer thinners sometime soon. I hope that you enjoyed this video. Please Like and Subscribe.
