Toolin around in the "new" vehicle, I detect the basketball court for some loose change. Then the county park, I find a silver ring! Then a ride through "the dark skies project" future home. Its a very nice, very hot day, so its only a short hunt, 11/2 hours. Love that county park, its easy huntin with the garret ace 250! Really likin' the GMC envoy, so I show off a little. Never owned any vehicles made in this century, a modern ride! Who'd athunk it! I donate any historical relics to Calhoun county historical society, they sometimes can get difficult permissions and help me find historical locations. Your local society will help you too!

Grantsville library, they have historical maps and memoirs!

Your local genealogical society can also help with research into locations, events of the past.

Hunt those basketball and tennis courts, county and town parks(especially old ones)
Fairgrounds, stockyards, old places where groups of people gathered, schoolyards, playgrounds, baseball diamonds, stadiums and bleacher areas. These are great areas to hone your coin shooting skills! I've dug at least $40 in modern coin around just one small local bb court! Its not EVER busy!

Happy hunting, good luck! WHAT'S IN YOUR YARD? DD.
