Rinpoche began by teaching on the meaning of the word rabrib, translation is defective view. What that means is that in reality I, action, object, hell and enlightenment, samsara and nirvana, happiness and problems in everyday life, the whole thing exist in mere name, merely labeled by the mind, by the valid mind relating to the valid base. By realizing existence and emptiness as unified, only that can eliminate ignorance, the root of samsara, holding the I as truly existent, real. Then Rinpoche explained how to think: whatever suffering sentient beings have - may it ripen on me. Whatever happiness I have - may it ripen on sentient beings. To recite that especially when you are traveling, when you see always suffering, keep the mind in this. Rinpoche said: Follow one Dharma - that is compassion. If you follow compassion, then all the realizations come like rainfall. Whatever you do, do in the conduct of great compassion. In all the times, in all the actions, train the mind in compassion towards sentient beings. That is what brings to enlightenment quickly.
