As we drove toward Biltmore Country Club to look at some of Apex Exteriors' work for a sophisticated client, Roger Greenhagel and I talked about the home improvement business. Prior to joining Apex as its sales manager, Roger was a custom home builder, a background that shaped his and the company's approach to sales and customer service. After talking about the territory that Apex serves I asked Roger for some tips on selecting a roofing contractor.
