This is my 1971 Sears Compact 7M. I've owned it since summer 2013. Built in 1971, originally with a 7hp Tecumseh engine, now with an old 6hp Tecumseh engine (from a snowblower. I got it that way.) 3 speed geared transmission with reverse. The snowplow is not factory, but it has a really great beefy mounting on it. Waiting for some snow to see how well it will plow! Upgrades include battery LED lighting, and a 5-foot stainless tow chain (just in case.) I don't plan on any fancy mods, just a fresh paint job one day. There's a very solid tractor under the worn paint and a bit of dirt/grease.
