Amy Hines is our behavioral and massage therapist for dogs at the Dogs Deserve Better Good Newz Rehab Center in Smithfield, Virginia. She talks about using touch therapy for rescued chained and penned dogs, who often come into our care unsocialized with humans. Amy evaluates them and works with them in conjunction with our staff of caretakers to make them ready for new, loving homes and families. Amy stresses the need for funding for staff caretakers for our dogs...without caretakers, we cannot continue to do our wonderful work rehabbing these needy dogs. Don't they deserve the best care we can give them?
