----------------
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into thick strips. Slice a slit on the side halfway in and use your fingers to deepen the hole.
Step 2
Roll the ham and swiss cheese into a cylinder and stuff it into the hole of the chicken.
Step 3
Using the foil, roll up the chicken tight and secure into as much of a cylinder as possible.
Step 4
Bake the chicken for about 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through.
Heat the oil to 375 degrees F.
Step 5
In a mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients for the batter ( 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of cornmeal, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and 4 teaspoons of baking powder). Beat the egg in 2 cups of milk and then add that to the dry ingredients until it becomes a batter. Add it to the long glass.
Step 6
Take the chicken out of the foil and pat it dry. Stick the wooden skewer into the long side of the chicken about halfway up.
Step 7
Dip the chicken into the glass filled with batter until it is completely covered.
Step 8
Add the battered chicken into the hot oil and fry for about 2 minutes or until the dog is crispy and golden brown.
