Being an entrepreneur is not enough. As thinking is changing, so are the entrepreneurs. Petri Rajaniemi presents you a story of a 2.0 entrepreneur from over a hundred years ago and also finally sets straight the difference between sympathy and empathy in a way that men can understand. In his TEDx talk, writer, speaker and founding partner of Future Works Petri Rajaniemi FRSA tells us that if you are looking for freedom in your working life, entrepreneurship in itself is not enough anymore. As a phenomena Entrepreneur 2.0 thinking is a shift in the way we see other people and most of all ourselves. The 2.0 thinking aims to be free of the subliminal expectations set upon entrepreneurs by themselves or by others. Expectations, traditions and passed on values can greatly restrict the entrepreneurs ability to use his/her full potential. His talk covers topics like envy, success, authenticity and most importantly empathy -- the driving force behind 2.0 thinking. Petri is passionate about people, learning and growth where ever it may occur. His career includes being head of development at the Federation of Finnish Entreprises and head of development at the Association of Finnish Education Providers, he is also the past secretary general of the Finnish Business Students' Union and the Finnish Students's Alliance. Currently he helps companies and other organisations understand the on going change in the rules of the global economy and more importantly find new possibilites even if they are hidden. Find out more about Petri at www.NOBS.fi In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
