Leaders of the world's largest economies will meet in Washington Saturday to confront a global financial system in shambles. Despite coordinated interest rate cuts by central banks around the world, stock markets in the U.S., Asia and Europe have declined sharply this week. International leaders hope a coordinated response will prevent the financial crisis from turning into a global recession. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
