This spectacular view is from the summit of Mt. Pisgah overlooking pristine, spring-fed Lake Willoughby. The 3.5 mile hike is categorized as moderate-difficult. In the 3 hour duration er passed only 5 other parties! The hike itself is enjoyable, yet standing at each of the three looikouts is quite rewarding. Two offer views of Willoughby and the other is a panorama which includes the White and Green Mts. of VT and NH and the Presential Range. Cooling brooks ramble across the trail at several points where refreshing waters prompt travelers on.
