This is the Junior Varsity (JV) Boys - Small Schools (Race 3), from the 2018 Cool Breeze Cross Country Invitational, held on September 7, 2018 at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena, California (next to the famous Rose Bowl).  The race is 3 miles (two loops) on a slightly changed route from 2017.  The meet is hosted by Claremont High School.

Commentary:  Aiden Ruiz (Cathedral) and Jesus Cadena (Fillmore) get caught up in a PV team workout.  With a last-second spurt, Ruiz busts up a perfect score for Palos Verdes.  Third year of Cool Breeze for Ruiz, who improved by big chunks each time.  Best performance for Ryan Echeverria (winner) by far.  Hard to predict that win.  Lots of team depth for the State's #4 D3 team.
