Bowling pins make great targets and can take a beating. We shot them with 22s, 9mm,40cal,45, 223,7.69 and the smith & Wesson 500. Shooting with 45 or smaller caliber they will last awhile . S&W 500, 223,7.62 or bigger will tear them up but not so easily.
