This game is similar to the Dancing in Rio game that was just posted.  I didn't have any luck with this game.  I am posting this video for those that want to see how it looks in contrast to its sister game design.

This machine was set at a 60 cent minimum bet, while Dancing in Rio was set at 50 cents.  I am not sure why the difference in minimum bet.  My guess is that the extra money is used for more particular payouts - which leads to the next conclusion...

The Pay Tables are different.  Pirate's top symbols pay less than Dancing.  On the other hand, Pirate's cheap symbols pay more than Dancing.  I am going to guess that it may be a wash, but that Pirate's lower potential win on normal spins means that the razzle dazzle (the game's attraction) has been shifted to more frequent progressive payout.  In other words, in Dancing the excitement is in bigger Bonus rounds, while in Pirate the excitement is in more frequent progressive payouts.

Has anyone observed the above theory in practice?
