Murder Arrest In Rutherford County

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- A fight leads to murder charges in Rutherford County. Deputies were called to the Triple-L Trailer Park on Whiteside Road at about 2:45AM Wednesday morning. When they arrived on scene, they found Steven Brent Bridges, Jr. with a stab wound to the chest. Deputies also found William Anthony Miller in the drive way of lot 6. They say he had the suspected weapon used in the assault, still in his hand. Miller was taken into custody at that time. Steven Bridges was transported to Rutherford Regional Hospital, where he later died. Miller has been charged with murder and is being held at Rutherford County Detention Facility.
