Spokesman for embattled Italian bank found dead in suspected suicide

The body of the spokesman for an Italian bank under investigation for corruption and fraud was found in the street bordering the bank's headquarters in Sienna. Italian news media are reporting that David Rossi, spokesman for Monte Paschi di Siena, the world's oldest bank, committed suicide by jumping out of a window overlooking a back street outside the building. Although investigators suspect Rossi's boss, Giuseppe Mussari, of fraud, Rossi had not been targeted by investigators.
