Sometimes, when I'm doing a detailed colored pencil drawing that takes time and patience, I like to draw something using my markers and colored pencils combined. The reason I love it so much is because I get to splash color everywhere and the process is relatively fast. For me, it just helps to break up the long process of colored pencil art. I don't know why exactly, but I just get an overwhelming feeling to draw something really colorful, it really helps my mental state of mind when I am in a lot of pain, it is one of the reasons I absolutely love drawing fan art, Manga and Anime. I understand a lot of people don't class this as art, but it makes me happy when I am drawing it and this is why I do it So I was looking through Pinterest for a cool image to draw and SpongeBob popped up and I just thought it looked so cool. I am not a SpongeBob fan and only one of my kids watched SpongeBob when they were younger, it was my Son and even then, he wasn't really a big fan. I hope you enjoy, I know that speed drawings are not for everyone and so I hope that you don't find it too annoying that I add the odd speed drawing among my review videos. I receive many emails and messages asking me how people can help support The Art Gear Guide, mainly I think due to the fact that I purchase all of the supplies myself, except those sent directly from companies kind enough to do so. I have decided to add a donations button to my site, however, I feel the best way to add such a campaign is as follows, all donations made will be used to purchase art products for review, however, all products purchased using donated funds, after they have been reviewed, will be used as giveaways to subscribers of the YouTube Channel, the web site or any of the above social media platforms. This way I personally will not benefit from financial donations. I have set this channel and site up for my own enjoyment and not profitable gain. I feel with this support method, everyone wins but not in a financial. Donations - http://bit.ly/2qFixmw My Own Personal Art I would not exactly call myself an artist in the true sense of the word, however I absolutely love art as it has helped me immensely dealing with clinical depression due to my battle with constant chronic pain and disability.
