This is not a great video, it is very short and I had focusing issues also, but still a very rare sight...

Yesterday morning I boarded a Go Air flight 381 from Mumbai to Chandigarh.  It was an Airbus A320 aircraft.  The flight took off from Mumbai airport runway 27 at 08:30 am, and headed out over the Arabian sea for a minute, before turning right to head north towards Chandigarh.

Very soon we crossed Virar and I could see the Western Railway as one straight line below us.  I knew our exact location at all times using my phone GPS.  I just want to mention that my PHONE WAS ON FLIGHT MODE AT ALL TIMES.  I had pre-downloaded Google Maps, and using my phone GPS could see our location.

After crossing Palghar and Boisar, at about 08:45 am, I saw an express train heading north on the Western Railway.  At that time we were at about 19000 feet and still climbing.  I immediately started taking the video, and managed to get a few seconds of parallel action between my aeroplane and the train.  The video is not very clear from that height, and sometimes went out of focus, but it was still a nice sight.  Few seconds later, you can also see Vangaon railway station.

Well the train was actually the 12935 Bandra Terminus - Surat Intercity Express.  At that time I had a few options in my mind, but was not sure.  After landing I checked the status of the trains.  The Bandra Surat Intercity had left Boisar (the previous station) at 08:38 am and it was a perfect match to the time at which I saw the train near Vangaon.  Also I watched the video on a big screen, and I clearly counted 22 coaches, which is the coach composition of the Intercity Express.
