A walk to end Alzheimer's in Asheville could raise as much as $85,000 for research and patient services.The Alzheimer's Association will hold the event Saturday morning in Pack Square Park.Doctor Jocolin Eichelberger has a good attitude about her battle with the memory-loss disease that affects 5.4 million Americans.The 71 year old educator and her husband, Dennis, promote the walk by placing pinwheel flowers in honor or memory of those affected by Alzheimer's.It's especially hard on caregivers.Jennie Pressley, Alzheimer's Association, it really wears them down.
