All-in liften lift at Rotterdam central metro station

Unlike other variable frequency lifts, once the doors have closed and the brake has released, it puts a frequency into the motor to hold it still for a couple of seconds before it varies the frequency to make it move - I can't see any reason for this as this wastes time! (it also does this once the lift has stopped before the doors open). http://beno.org.uk
