Holy crap. I don't know how, but I did it all in one shot. I've finally done the entire game in Hard Mode. I've also got lucky that I got away with Shyouzen having no Karma left. I also noticed some differences between this and the vanilla one: - Backgrounds and tilesets have altered color palettes (the last battle background was originally greenish). - All enemies in the game also have altered color palettes (the "King of Retards" is supposed to be (obviously) yellow). - All enemies have improved stats(?) and are more frequent to use instant-KO skills. That being said, you're gonna lose a lot. - Some of Shyouzen's allies' skills have been removed. For example, Inspector Gadget originally had more than just a healing skill. - Accuracy of your attacks have been reduced more than ever. Even Armageddon can be evaded. - Not sure about this one, but I think the amount of "Shiny" you gain from common enemies is also reduced. - The exploding chickens in Stage 2-1 deal 30 damage each to Shyouzen (I think they still do damage in the original, but only by 1 damage each). They also seem to appear in Stage 4-1 and 4-2, but never as many as in 2-1. - The path became linear at the end of 3-1 (there were two roads leading to the exit in the original). - The sand tiles used for Stage 5 now harm the party by one damage for each step. - Soul Spheres (for restoring 10 of Shyouzen's Karma) cost 1,500 Shiny instead of 1,000. - And finally, what you have just seen in this video: True Dracula, THE final foe you face in the game after defeating the King of Retards. True Dracula appears four times during the destruction of the World of Annoyance. In the first battle against him, he will face Shyouzen and three allies alone LIKE A BOSS. His attacks deal average damage (about 100 average) and does not pose much of a threat currently. When True Dracula is hurt enough, he will retreat for a while. Give this time to prepare your party for his next appearance. In the second and third battles, he comes back with his minions. Necromantic Wave will not work on these guys (because they're vampires, and not "living"), so use Resentment Blast on the minions one-by-one. Once you get rid of his minions, focus your attack on True Dracula. Again, he'll retreat after taking some hits. Don't relax just yet, it's not over until... There! The portal! Let's escape- crap, it's him again!!! Yep, True Dracula will appear one last time as you step into the portal. He may appear alone again, but now he has a friggin shotgun! His attacks are also more powerful here, so watch out! Go all out on him! Use Armageddon if Shyouzen has any spare Karma, and make sure to heal Shyouzen when his HP is below 210. Once the battle is over, it's all mission accomplished. ...So what's the point of this? Mm, I dunno. Probably a challenge for a masochist like me... and a bad one as well since some of Shyouzen's allies are unbalanced (Bahamut #921 with 1 speed? Really?) and enemies spam brutal attacks constantly to drain Shyouzen's Karma. It doesn't matter in the end though. What's done is done, and I'm happy about it. (It also "sucks to be me" for skipping four stages and Shyouzen having the title of "Slut". WTF?)
