Heath Hospital at Cardiff was the venue for the latest concert, arranged by and for the British Heart Foundation. Rated "the best in ten years" by the BHF chairman, this concert was privileged to have the services of Joy Amman Davies as Accompanist. Fielding 68 choristers, this choir makes a powerful sound in the lecture theatre, with this Neil Diamond number, though not a wonderful place acoustically. The hand-held camcorder hardly does anyone justice, either, but I was there selling CDs and therefore filming was not my major priority! Improved sound is gained by using decent speakers, however - the average laptop won't do the choir justice, either.
