George H.W. Bush's biographer, Jon Meacham, delivered a eulogy for the 41st U.S. president's funeral Wednesday. The historian described how Bush survived after the young Naval pilot's plane was shot down during World War II. Bush "was America's last great solider statesman, a 20th century founding father. He governed with virtues that most closely resemble those of Washington and of Adams ... of men who believed in causes larger than themselves," Meacham said.
