Within my Illustrator file for a work of art that I produced in 2010 for a contest I entered (which is documented and the original work of art is and has been available for purchase online at fine art America since shortly after I didn't win the contest) I discovered the world map I used as a guide had miraculously changed to the new world map although my artwork that was based on the map hadn't. This has produced mandela effect residue. This has produced a fairly detailed comparison that once I turned on this hidden guide layer you can see exactly what is different. There are indeed changes, some which could be chalked up as water level changes possibly but others cannot be explained in a way that doesn't violate what we consider possible. Entire Islands have vanished. Denmark, not sure where it used to be but it's now in an area that used to be all ocean. For you geography buffs, this may prove to be a useful tool in reconstructing the old world map.

Sorry my head is out of sync, I've had such trouble getting things lined up. If the head is the only issue I can live with that, it's just annoying more than anything. Great information here though, enjoy.

Here's a link to the original artwork that I uploaded in 2012.
