1. Xiaomi's only Android One smartphone, Mi A1, is all set to get a successor. Said to be called the Mi A2, the handset is allegedly the stock Android version of the Mi 6X, which was launched in China in April.
Digitec, the Switzerland-based website lists that the device will come in three storage variants 32GB, 64GB and 128GB priced at CHF 289 (roughly Rs 19,800), CHF 329 (about Rs 22,500) and CHF 369 (roughly Rs. 25,200)
It is rumoured to sport a 5.99-inch full HD+ display of 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

2. A fresh report says that the iPhone SE 2 is not going to be launched this year because Apple has decided to cancel the project, and instead focus its energies on the other three iPhone that most likely will be the iPhone 9, iPhone X Plus and the iPhone 9 Plus. Or probably there will be just the iPhone X, with three variants launching in 2018.
These will be the iPhone X, which will use a 5.8-inch screen similar to the one that is in the existing iPhone X. Then there will be the iPhone X with 6.1-inch screen. However, this model is supposed to the iPhone X for masses and will be relatively more affordable.

Finally, there will be the iPhone X with 6.5-inch screen, which will be the top-end iPhone this year and it will reportedly come with 3 rear cameras, with one of the cameras tuned for depth-sensing and AR features.

3. Google is officially rolling out Android Messages client for Web after months of rumours, and a couple of months after an announcement on the company's part. With the latest update, sending and receiving SMS and RCS (Rich Communication Services) messages from a PC will become easier for Android users. Google has informed that the new feature is now rolling out and should be available globally by next week. With desktop support for Android Messages, Google is finally taking on Apple's iMessage service.

Android Messages is Android's official app for texting (SMS and MMS) and chat (RCS). In April, Google's plans for turning Android Messages into something of an iMessage competitor were revealed. Google on Monday announced Messages for Web as a brand-new feature for Android Messages. As per Google's blog post, text, images, and stickers are all supported on the new Web version.
