Video demonstrating how the Ranger gameplay works in TPS mode.  This also gives you an introduction to general gameplay aspects of the game.  Even if you do not plan on playing as Ranger, this and the video I will upload after this one is a good idea to watch as I also introduce the basic gameplay and UI elements for this game.

TL;DR, if you plan on playing Ranger, KB + Mouse is a very viable combo.  The UI can be navigated with such a setup.  This is something a lot of multiplatform PC/console games/games that have both M+KB and gamepad in mind have trouble with.  I think PSO2 has figured it out.

Funny how a smaller company could figure this out, but a team with tons of money and talent backing it can't (Square-Enix and FFXIV).
