When I think of The Last of Us and it's many wonderful characters, I am always reminded of how few of them actually survived until the conclusion of the game. So many perished in unexpected and spectacular ways, and Tess is no exception. While her time within the game was relatively short, she had a major impact as the force that compelled Joel to carry on with the seemingly suicidal mission of taking Ellie to the Fireflies.
