About art & science Visual artist from the US who has been working in collaboration with the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) and the Physics Department at the University of Warsaw for the past year as a 2015-16 US Fulbright Researcher. Inspired by the overlaps in the fields of science and art, her visual language borrows heavily from contemporary tropes in these fields, with the work often taking the form of video, sound installation, photography, and also internet-based works. She has participated in exhibitions and artist residencies internationally and regularly lectures on this intersection of art and science. Zazenski received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2014 and is continuing her work in Warsaw as a US Fulbright Researcher for 2016-17. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
