December 25, 1984 - After trailing by double digits for the better part of the evening, Isiah Thomas created a prime opportunity to draw his Detroit Pistons even with the Philadelphia 76ers late in their Christmas Day showdown. Oddly, Thomas' uncontested layup drew no iron. However, in lieu of sulking in the backcourt, Thomas returned to live action, received an outlet pass second later, and led Dan Roundfield perfectly for a two-hand dunk, sending the Silverdome crowd into hysterics. Alas, the 76ers would hold on for a narrow 109-108 win after Isiah Thomas fouled out shortly after the clip above. He finished with 25 points and 11 assists.
