NEW YORK (CNN) -- Papa John's fired a cashier in New York after she identified a customer as "lady chinky eyes."

It happened Friday night at the Papa John's on Broadway in Manhattan's Hamilton Heights neighborhood. The customer posted a photograph of the receipt on her Twitter account.

Papa John's also issued an apology saying ""This act goes against our company values."
