Whether tackling the topic of anorexia nervosa in her acclaimed Netflix film To the Bone or encouraging young people to find self-confidence by sharing her own story (see her book Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me), Lily doesn’t shy away from highlighting the issues of the day. A believer in the power of using one’s voice to advocate for change, she took the stage at WE Day Seattle to share this inspirational message. From backstage, Lily shares her views on social advocacy as a young leader and a humble role model to fans.
