A description of what it is to take the Lord's name in vain. To do so is to take it falsely. To say one thing and do another. So even in obedience to this commandment, we see that its about faith. In this case, the faith of others and how we portray God has a direct bearing on that. We will not, and should not be held guiltless for pushing others away from the Father.
