Another 2.5" hard disk POV approach

Just a quick clip of another approach to making a HDD POV display. The LEDs, microcontroller and power are all on the the PCB which replaces the platter. There's a PIC16F688, a hall effect sensor (magnet on the backplane) and two LR44 batteries. The text displayed is "Build Brighton", my local hackspace.. will be taking this along to a Brighton Science festival event tomorrow.
