Tracking drums to a rough demo of 'Thayer', a song I'm in the process of completing under the name Ma, 1997. It's a departure from Concrete Flooring, my solo project, in that I'm extensively creating ambient, shoegaze and post-rock sounds as opposed to acoustic instrumental rock. I'm not sure what the studio result will be, but I wanted to share a clip of the writing process... or just me making music. Audio: Pearl EXR Kit (14" Snare) w/ ZHT Hi-hats, Zildjian 70s A-Custom Ride → CAD Pro-7 Drum Mic Kit → PreSonus FireStudio Project → Mixcraft 5 & .mp3 codec. Video: Panasonic HDC-SD100 → Sony Vegas 9.0d & .mpeg codec → YouTube.
