Man dies in grain elevator fall

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating a deadly accident at a Corpus Christi grain elevator. According to OSHA representative Travis Clark, a male employee was found dead as a result of a fall at the Interstate Grain Corporation at 5700 Up River Road on Sunday. Clark said he wasn't able to release any other details. Meanwhile, the Nueces County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 21-year old Merejildo Ramos of Corpus Christi. He died from trauma due to the fall. The Medical Examiner's office is waiting on his toxicology results.
