Very often we put ourselves before and above others, as well as placing ourselves in a position of scrutiny of others. We should instead be placing others first and placing ourselves in a light of self examination, of self scrutiny. Our actions should be those of self donation to others. The Pharisees were admonished by our Lord Jesus over the aforementioned lack of charity to others. Our orientation should be one in which we practice charity towards others. Let us pray for the grace to do so.
