Some of the fun in traveling is to sample some of the local junk food. McDonald's restaurants discontinued the tasty fried apple pies many years ago in Canada, the USA and Europe. Well, if you are old enough to recall these fun treats, they are still available in Hawaii and Japan! Although the deep fried pineapple pies are only available here in the Hawaiian islands! Always fun to make the most out of the local cuisine! And I think they are actually vegan too!! Stay snacky my friends! And aloha from Hawaii!
