The V8SCOPS Bathurst 1000 is the single biggest event on the iRacing calendar for any Australian race fan. It represents all things that us V8 Supercar fans love about our sport. It's a prestigious event and for many, winning this race means more than any other event or championship for the whole year. We put hours of preparation into this race and spend 12 months of the year looking forward to the next running.

Last year I crashed out early and have waited 12 months for redemption at the mountain. All week I have been near the top of the time sheets and was confident of a good result if lady luck was on our side. Once again I would be teaming up with my buddy Todd Parkes for the event and I started the race.

This is the opening stint to of the race where I grid from 10th place and try to stay out of trouble in the early stages of the race.
