United Nations, New York, 1 September 2009 - The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) reports that a humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Saada city, in northern Yemen, where the situation is deteriorating by the day. The Agency is gravely concerned about the fate and wellbeing of the civilian population trapped inside the city as a result of fierce fighting between Al Houthi forces and the Government troops, which is now entering its third week.
