This method works because, without too much effort, our brain is automatically reviewing and revising material without too much effort. How? When we first learn something, it is instantly scattered across many different areas of our brain. The act of spaced repetition forces the nerve cells responsible for learning and storing information to be stimulated and strengthened every time we revisit the content; leading to it being stored in our long-term memory. Using this method is super easy and by far my favourite language learning hack because of how easy it is! In this video, I show you exactly how I use sticky notes combined with flash cards when I'm on the go to make that vocab stick! **One more tip** Don't overdo it! To ensure the effectiveness of this strategy, pick one theme or topic and stick with learning vocabulary related to that subject. Our brains like structure and if you're trying to learn 50 mixed and completely unrelated words, it will just be confusing and your brain will tune out immediately!
